Designing a tongue-in-cheek art guide for the Nando’s Creativity and OpenStudios.Joburg event, which allowed visitors to explore galleries and artists’ studios in Johannesburg.

One of the aims of this art event was to try and make art more accessible. Given that Nando’s often has a tongue-in-cheek tone, we wanted to bring this tone into the art guide, allowing it to be more fun and playful. To help viewers communicate how they feel about the art, we create a page of ‘meme reaction’ stickers that they could place next to the artworks. 

We created an easy to follow, playful guide that allowed viewers to interact with the art and have fun while doing so.
